On May 25th the Yellow Mustang car show will be held at Earl Tindol Ford in Gastonia, North Carolina. Only 1993 and up yellow Mustangs and Cobras will be allowed as participants. Rare 1996 Tangerine Orange Mustangs will also be welcomed to participate in the show. Carlisle Events claims this to be the largest all Ford Swap and Show in the country. I have no reason to dispute them! The event will take place from May 31 through June 2, 2002 at the Carlisle Pennsylvannia Fairgroungs. To find out more visit Carlisle Events. Ned Jarrett, Dyno Don Nicholson and Bruce Larson are some of the famous racers that will be on hand to provide autographs. Bruce's 1963 Cobra will be on display. He set the record time for AA/Sports Production class in 1964 and beat Carroll Shelby's own factory team. The new GT40 concept car will be on display along with the 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra. The SVT Cobra will be sporting a 390Hp - 390 lb.-ft torque, 4.6-liter DOHC engine. Vendors are also allowed for a small registration fee, but must have a sales tax license.
