

"Thirty years ago I bought a used 1969 Mustang Mach One: my very first car. I ended up transforming the car into a true road warrior, and training myself to exploit to the limit its expanded capabilities. Together we proved our mettle in real world races, chases, and pursuits the likes of which would horrify parents, anger police, and bring cheers from rebellious hot rodders everywhere. But of course the real world's not nearly so forgiving to such a lifestyle as the fantasies of film and TV. Although I somehow survived relatively unscathed, I knew many others of my ilk who didn't.
On my site there's a list of the actual modifications I made to the car, and how I did many of them dirt cheap. I compare the completed car to its factory cousin the 1969 Shelby GT-350, present a gallery of original concept sketches for body mods, and offer an account of the car's final days-- hopefully with enough details changed to keep me out of trouble."
